Meet the Team
Ben
Ben began his golf journey in March 2024, and despite limited prior experience, his improvement has been remarkable.
In just eight months, he’s transformed from slicing every shot to making consistent, solid contact, lowering his handicap from 54 to 32.
For Ben, the best part of golf is the laughs shared on the course, whether it’s from wayward shots or frustrated putts.
As he likes to say, “Just tap it in. Just tap it in. Give it a little tappy. Tap Tap Taparoo.”
Luis
Luis is 23 years old. Golf has always been one of my favourite pastimes because of that unique feeling you get on every par 3.
There's always that chance for a hole-in-one, and it’s such an exciting thought, even if it's only for a few seconds before I hit the ball off the tee. It’s like the thrill of possibility every time.
As for my goals, I’m determined to break 90 next year, which is a big challenge I’m really looking forward to. I’m always pushing myself to improve my game.
One quote that really resonates with me is, 'You’re either good at golf or good in bed.
Rob
"Rob, 29. Die-hard golf enthusiast on a mission to bring down my handicap—and maybe raise a few eyebrows along the way. My lob wedge? Let’s just say it might have more range than your driver, especially when I'm chipping around the green…and you bet I’ll remind you if I outdrive you! Always chasing the perfect swing, but honestly, with the crew I get to play with, I’ve already hit the jackpot.
Goal #1: Break 80 consistently. Goal #2: Finally tame that monstrous slice that haunts me. It’s a work in progress, but hey, every great golfer has their demons, right?
And if all else fails, I’ll just lean on my favourite quote from *Happy Gilmore*: 'Uh oh, Happy learned how to putt!'"
Joe
Hey, I’m Joe, 28 years old, and while I enjoy getting out on the course, my favorite part about golf is definitely going home after the round. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the game, but there’s something satisfying about calling it a day.
Looking ahead, my goal for next year is to play a bit less—life’s busy, and I want to focus on other things, too. That said, I’m always amused by one of my favourite golf quotes: 'I know I’m getting better because I’m hitting fewer spectators.'
It perfectly sums up how I feel about the progress I’ve made, even if it's just dodging a few more people along the way!"
